These potholders are made from two layers of an old linen kitchen towel. In between is a layer of thick batting.
 
The potholders are quilted with a thread that matches the fabric which creates a subtle pattern. The pattern is botanical: leaves, flowers and berries. The quilting method creates a design that is the same on both sides. The potholders have similar designs. 
 
Machine washable.
